Generally the WordPress Post is used to enter content that is specific to a topic for instance news stories or information on elements of a wider subject.
WordPress Posts can be allocated to a category so that locating information is relatively easy for the end user.
You can also Tag WordPress Posts to add a further level of navigation through your site.
